We are a fast-growing SaaS scale-up on a mission to shape a sustainable future for the food industry. With four years of 100% year-on-year growth, we are transforming global food supply chains to make them more transparent, sustainable, and safe. Our team is building the world’s largest and first food and beverage impact network, empowering retailers, wholesalers and their suppliers with insights that ensure food safety and sustainability.

What you will do

  • Own and drive product delivery and roadmap outcomes

  • Lead and grow a 20-person development team with high standards of excellence and support

  • Act as a technical visionary: make architecture calls, flag bottlenecks early, and identify technical accelerators

  • Strengthen collaboration between sales, product and engineering to improve prioritisation, design, and delivery

  • Introduce lean but effective processes, clear specs, fast sprints, and sharp planning, without slowing down

  • Act as chief hacker, bringing the right energy to build momentum and velocity in the team.

  • Build a culture of pride, urgency, ownership, and delivery excellence

  • Partner with leadership and investors, offering strategic input and technical confidence

Job requirements

What we are looking for?

Technical depth

Former senior engineer or founder-level profile. You still understand the internals, challenge architecture, and balance tech debt with delivery speed.

Builder energy

Fast-moving, momentum-driven, hands-on. You're not afraid of pulling a late night when it matters and thrive in ambiguity.

Strategic product thinking

You understand customer needs and sales signals, and you translate them into product direction. You balance customer impact with technical feasibility.

Execution focus

You lead by doing. You drive the roadmap and rally teams around clear goals.

Process maturity

You bring clarity to planning, QA, and delivery while keeping overhead light.

Cultural Leadership

You inspire pride in work and what we are doing, communicate well top-down and bottom-up, and create a culture of delivery excellence.


What you bring

  • Experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering in a B2B SaaS company (€1–20M ARR), ideally closer to the €10M ARR.

  • A track record of scaling output, not just team size, in fast-moving product teams

  • Familiarity with full-stack product development in early-stage or growth SaaS

  • Proven ability to lead technical orgs through both vision and operational excellence

 

Bonus points

  • Background as a founder or early-stage technical lead

  • Dutch or German proficiency (helpful for client interations but not required, our team is very international with 24 nationalities)
