Role Overview
As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead our marketing initiatives with an entrepreneurial spirit, shaping growth strategies that attract customers and build brand equity. We are looking for a proactive leader with a growth mindset, data-driven instincts, and experience in high-growth, B2B environments. You’ll be managing your own budget, building the foundation, guiding junior marketers, and contributing to a collaborative culture of innovation.
Key responsibilities
Lead generation & results
- Drive customer acquisition: Build from scratch, own and optimize key channels like our website, content, ABM and SEM.
- Innovative growth strategy: Develop and execute data-driven strategies to attract and convert high-quality leads, continually optimizing based on performance insights.
- Lead nurturing: Implement nurturing tactics to maximize conversion rates through the sales funnel.
Job requirements
Experienced in driving organic growth
- Strategic content development: Lead the creation of high-impact B2B content, including blogs, case studies, white papers, and campaign assets, tailored to our audience’s interests and needs. Leverage storytelling and creative strategies to build visibility and differentiate Agriplace in a competitive market.
- SEO & Organic Channel Optimization: Strategically optimize our website and content for search engines to maximize organic traffic. Identify key topics and high-intent keywords that drive qualified leads and align with industry trends, enhancing our visibility and authority online.
- Partner & Event visibility: Design and execute a targeted partner and event strategy to position Agriplace at relevant events.
Improve our brand and positioning
- Brand Leadership: Shape Agriplace’s brand identity and messaging in alignment with our mission and values, ensuring consistency across all channels. Lead our upcoming rebranding efforts which will help us position correctly into new markets.
- Collaborative Strategy Execution: Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success to ensure marketing supports business objectives.
Team Management
- Budget oversight: Manage the marketing budget efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Team leadership: Guide and mentor a junior marketer, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the marketing team.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years in B2B marketing, ideally within startups or scale-ups where you have owned and executed high-impact initiatives.
- Ownership mindset: Proven track record of taking ownership of projects and driving results from strategy through to execution.
- Results focused: Innovative and driven, with a pioneering attitude toward building new marketing channels and experimenting with growth hacks that drive results.
- Hands-on execution: Ability to execute marketing tactics while evaluating and ensuring top-notch quality.
