About the role: Head of Sales

As Head of Sales you are leading our sales team (10 FTE) and you become part of our management team. To achieve our company goals and objectives, your main responsibilities are:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Develop, implement and execute strategic sales plans
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and contribute to targets
  • Analyse sales data and market trends within the food industry to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners within the food industry

Job requirements

About you

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, including experience in selling complex products or SAAS/ Software solutions
  • As we operate internationally, knowledge of additional European languages such as Dutch, German, Spanish, French and Italian is a large plus
  • Experience in food, supply chain management, quality, or sustainability is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an outbound and SDR & AE driven sales environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales results and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans
