Making our food supply chain more sustainable is one of the largest challenges of our time. Agriplace is a rapidly growing software company based in Amsterdam that is committed to contributing to the transition of safe and sustainable supply chains. We do this by building solutions for the entire food supply chain. We empower buyers and producers of agricultural products by offering insight into the sustainability and food safety aspects of their products, and by enabling super simple compliance with market requirements.

We are a young, international, and rapidly growing team of (currently) 52 people passionate about making a positive impact and creating the largest agricultural network in the world. Currently our network manages €30 billion in agricultural goods and have customers in over 18 countries. 

Job requirements

Your Responsibilities

At Agriplace we develop deep relationships in both our customer- and employee relationships. You will be involved in the full Agriplace employee-cycle from recruitment, onboarding and experiences such as company events to ensure the best people and culture experience possible. 

  • Together with the People and Culture Manager and the Finance and Office Coordinator you will be part of the People and Culture team that is developing the P&C strategy;
  • Together with the Office Coordinator you will take care of Culture and Office management;
  • You will be part of Office and Culture team to make sure everything in- and around the office is organized in the best way possible and you contribute to a green, healthy and fun office environment;
  • You will take the lead in the Fun Committee and organize our legendary company events and parties; 
  • You manage the onboarding and offboarding off employees;
  • You provide initiation and coordination of improvement initiatives in your area of expertise in People, Culture and Office management;
  • You will make sure no birthday or celebration of our team will be forgotten. 

What we're looking for

  • You are people- and care oriented: you want to get to know your colleagues and know what we can do to make them feel special;
  • Collaboration – as we are a small company, being able to work well together is essential;
  • You are proactive, have a can-do attitude and like to take initiatives to keep things moving from day to day;
  • Professional English level;
  • You are available for a full-time (40 hours) internship of 5-6 months.

  • Flexibility in from where you work – for this position we are looking for someone who enjoys coming to the office for a minimum of 3 days per week;
  • €500,- internship compensation per month;
  • Within your internship you will get the same amount of vacation days as in an employment (25 vacation days per year);
  • Free daily and healthy lunch at the office and compensation for travelling to the office when applicable (travel distance +10km).
